The predictions for August were provided in theOAA Comet Section Reports August 5 Issue.The following are the results of observation at Geisei Observatory:

This photograph was taken at 4 am on August 5 by Geisei's 60cm reflector. It was easy even in a smaller aperture comet seeker during a routine sweeping. m1=6.5,  D=10'.
The tail was not visible. It is moving northward very fast and will be a binocular object throughout summer.
