This object was reported as a possible comet by J. R. Masiero (C51) who
noted that it appeared to be fuzzier than a typical PSF in the NEOWISE W2 (4.6
micron) channel on Apr. 18. Q.-Z. Ye (I41) remarked that his prediscovery
Apr. 9 image showed a 20"-30" coma, and his Apr. 20 image showed a 15" coma in
slighty subpar conditions. R. A. Mastaler (695, Apr. 24) noted a faint
coma, though no obvious tail. R. S. McMillan (691) described the object as
slightly diffuse in images from Apr. 25 and 26. H. Sato (Q11) reported a 9"
coma and no tail in seven stacked 60-s exposures on Apr. 27, and a 7" coma and
no tail in six stacked 60-s exposures on May 2. M. Masek (I47, Apr. 28) noted
a 10" coma and no tail in 22 stacked 60-s exposures.
