The follow-up observation of C/2018 Y1 (Iwamoto)

This is a recent observation of Comet Iwamoto. The comet is in Auriga in the evening sky and has become fainter. It will be around the 8th or 9th magnitude, but may be still visible in powerful binoculars. This photograph was taken at 22:40 on March 7 with a 2-minute exposure. A greenish diffuse coma is impressive. It has a highly elliptical orbit which will not bring it back to our Solar System.
