Reports from Geisei Observatory <August 28, 2009>

P/2009 L2 (Yang-Gao), C/2008 Q3 (Garradd), C/2009 O4 (Hill), C/2006 W3 (Christensen), and P/2009 O3 (Hill)

It is still warm, but the sky has turned to the typical autumn color. The familiar sight of the Pleiades in Taurus is seen after midnight. Strangely, we saw many meteors at the public viewing night on August 24. The intense brightness of Jupiter is extraordinary.
The following are the observations by the 70cm reflector.
