Reports from Geisei Observatory <February 20, 2005>

• C/2005 A1(LINEAR), C/2005 B1(Christensen), and C/2004 X3(LINEAR)
The following is the result of a recent observation by Geisei's 60cm telescope and provides the remeasured values:
C/2005 A1 was as low as at -50 degrees in declination and the measurement was extremely difficult due to drifting of star images caused by atmospheric refraction. It was 13th magnitude photographically, but visually 11th-12th magnitude.
C/2005 B1 has not brightened much yet.
C/2004 X3 was faint and showed only its nucleus in a photograph.
With near full moon observation will be temporarily halted.
