K. Sarneczky (Konkoly 天文台)とP. Szekely (Szeged大学)は、9月1.1日と2.1日UT、Konkoly
天文台 Piszkesteto Stationの0.60-m Schmidt望遠鏡で得たフィルターなしのCCD露出でP/2007 T6
(IAUC 8881, 8894を参照)を検出した。
この彗星の外観は、120秒露出15枚のスタックで完全な恒星状であった。
