国立天文台の渡部潤一氏の通報によると、IAUC 8032が発行される前の、12月14.858日UT(15日
午前5時35分JST)に藤川繁久氏(香川県三豊郡大野原町、16cm反射)が独立発見していた。
眼視による全光度約9等、コマdia 4′。

追加精測観測から放物線軌道が次のように修正された。
