• C/1998T1(LINEAR)
C/1998 T1 (NEAR), which has been moving north is now visible. The telescope tube is barely high enough to clear the bottom of the dome's slit.

Through the 20cm refractor at 48x, the comet is very diffuse with the coma's diameter being 5' to 7'. It will continue to move north while fading. It seems to be at its brightest now.
