Observations made with the 60cm reflector and not previously reported (2)
Continued from the previous report, these are the measurements
made from earlier observations using the 60cm reflector. As the films are
already more than 10 years old, the images have faded and generally appear
faint. However, I am certain the precision of positional measurements is
maintained.
Photographs taken for comet patrol often show the targeted
objects near the edge of a frame, which, together with coma, may result
in less precise measurements. SL590 is a minor planet moving east between
two galaxies in Leo. As it passed opposition some time ago, it is in direct
motion.
