C/2007 N3 (Lulin)

    Once bright C/2007 N3 (Lulin) has faded a little as seen in the photograph below and become difficult even in binoculars. By the observations with the 70cm telescope, the magnitude of the nucleus can be measured more accurately than the total magnitude because of its slow optics. In this report both nucleus and total magnitudes are given. Visual estimates will be 2 to 3 magnitudes brighter.
