Reports from Geisei Observatory <November 3, 2006>

C/2006 L1 (Garradd) and P/2006 T1 (Levy)

November 3 is Culture Day holiday and blessed with fine weather every year.
The following are the results of recent morning observations at Geisei. C/2006 L1 (Girradd) is still detectable as a faint glow visually, while P/2006 T1 (Levy) has deteriorated considerably and is faint even in the 60cm reflector. By the dark period after the next full moon, the observation of this comet may become difficult.

The report is arranged in the MPC format.
