73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 and P/2005 XA54 (LONEOS-Hill)

    The following are the recent observations of the two comets:
    The magnitude of Nucleus C of 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 on April 23 was measured by 7x50 binoculars using comparison stars in the GSC. Nucleus C still looked split into two followed by a small fragment, but it will be difficult to confirm it with a telescope smaller than one meter. Through the 20cm telescope the total visual magnitude seemed to be about 9.
