Reports from Geisei Observatory <June 26, 2005>

9P/Tempel 1 and C/2004 Q2 (Machholz)

The following are the results of observation of Tempel 1 and Machholz, which are steadily fading: These two comets are barely visible in the 20cm telescope, but it will become very difficult to observe in July. Photographic observation will be possible for a while.
The accuracy of measurements will be high, as the nucleus is relatively strong.
