Reports from Geisei Observatory <November 9, 2004>

• C/2003 K4 (LINEAR)
We continue to have warm days here at Geisei and are not blessed with a typical late-autumn clear sky yet.
C/2003 K4, which has appeared in the southern sky after passing perihelion in October, is not clearly visible, though bright, because it is still very low on the horizon. The coma is large and its tail faintly extends to the west.
