• Mr. Koichi Ike: A minor planet is named after him.
This is a recent photograph of Mr. Koichi Ike, whose name was given to the minor planet 21022. The telescope tube seen behind him is equipped with a renowned mirror (12cm f/6) ground by Mr. Takao Namura, who was active from 1965 and onward, around the time when Comet Ikeya-Seki appeared. It is Mr. Namura's second mirror after my 9cm f/7 telescope mirror.
