• C/2003 F1(LINEAR), C/2003 G1(LINEAR), C/2003 G2(LINEAR) All of them are small and faint. It requires an exposure of 20 minutes on the average for each object. It is all-night hard labor, as I use the Metcalf method. In order to continue to track the comets, sometimes I need to climb to the top end of the huge tube of the 60cm telescope; at other times I have to lie flat on the floor. I feel the useful days of this telescope are numbered with the arrival of the CCD era.
