Reports from Geisei Observatory <March 30, 2003>

• C/2003 F1(LINEAR)
Since the start of spring we have been unable to obtain clear images of comets due to hazy conditions typical of springtime. In spring Geisei's 60cm reflector can barely capture comets of this magnitude with a 30-minute exposure. I took photographs on March 26, but they were not used for positional measurements because of poor-quality images.

C/2003 E1 (NEAT) is being observed for precise measurements.
