There were a lot of clouds during the daytime, but in the evening it cleared up.C/2002 Q4 (NEAT), which is expected to reach first magnitude in May, 2004, is low over the southern ocean. It is 15th magnitude with a 1.5'-long tail in the north.
Because GSC is not usable, the above measurements may contain a ±2" error. It will be measured again later.
Will it match Comet Kohotek in its grandeur?
