• C/2000 WM1(LINEAR) at dawn
C/2000 WM1 (LINEAR) has become bright at dawn. The following are the results of observation by Mr. Hirohisa Sato.

He observed the comet by 10x7cm binoculars using three comparison stars. There was no report of the tail.

This photograph was taken by Geisei's 60cm reflector in the same morning. Exposure time was 60 seconds and the bright coma with a short tail is visible. The predictions are provided in the OAA Comet Section Reports.
