Reports from Geisei Observatory <June 2, 2001>

• A nova in Aquila
At 23.00 on May 31 (JST), I turned the 60cm reflector to the nova in Aquila second time. The brightness did not seem to have changed much. It was at magnitude 12.5, 0.5 magnitude fainter compared with its brightness on May 19. Five comparison stars were used from the GSC. The efficiency of observation falls in spring because of haze and shorter time available for observation.
