Reports from Geisei Observatory <April 18, 2001>


• C/2001 G1
Observations at Geisei are as follows.
At a glance it appears as a diffuse comet and there is no bright nucleus visible. The coma is 10" across. The comet deviates 45" from the provisional orbit; possibly e < 1.

• 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova
The comet was at the 12th magnitude in the evening sky on April 16.


• C/2001 A2(LINEAR)
It was at the 8th magnitude on April 14 and 15.
