• The nova in Aquila
The photo was taken by the 60cm reflector. The magnitudes of this nova are as follows:

   2000UT    mv
   May 2.7   8.6
       3.7   8.7
       4.7   8.8

The position of the nova determined from an image obtained by the 60cm reflector is:
α=18h52m03s.48   δ=-1o28'39".8 (2000)
In the photograph the nova appears to have almost the same magnitude as GSC reasion No.5114 (m=8.75).

The photo was taken at 3 am on May 3 with a 2-minute exposure.
