Reports from Geisei Observatory<April 30, 1999>


• The recurrent nova in Aquila
This nova was discovered by Mr. Takamizawa and Mr. Yamamoto early in the morning of April 29. It was captured in a color photograph by a 135mm f/2.0 camera early in the morning of April 30 at Geisei. It is a reddish star toward the edge in the photograph. The visual magnitude was about 9.

The small star with an arrow is the nova.
