One hundred and thirty years ago, in the year 1858, a monstrous comet appeared over Paris. People all over the world were stunned by the comet which kept a perfect balance between a huge curved dust tail and a string-like straight gas tails. The first photograph of this comet was taken by Bond. It seems to be far larger than Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997.
