March 2004

• March 4
It was a magnificent clear sky. Orion seen from the rooftop above the third floor was stunning and even with the moon it was shining as brightly as in Geisei's sky. The background sky was dark and with 20cm f/5 I should be able to obtain a 10-minute exposure. C/2002 T7 (LINEAR) was low on the horizon, not visible from Geisei.
Little old news: We welcomed seven members of Satsuki Observatory in Okayama Prefecture with Mr. Akihiko Tago as the core member on February 21. Their visit, they told me, was for reference for their future activity.
